We started our meeting together with the Brownie troop by reciting the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout
Law.
We began our activities by completing an activity from the Manners Try-It with the Brownie troop. We tried
our hands at using chopsticks while eating Chicken Lo Mein. We also ate fortune cookies. Most of the girls did a great job
and enjoyed it.
We the discussed the “respect myself and others” purple petal and the “respect authority”
magenta petal. We discussed information about our own rights as a person and ways to respect others in society. We also discussed
about following directions and authority figures in our community.
We will complete another bridging activity and other daisy activities or crafts at the next meeting.
We will also try to catch a few of the girls up on activities that have been missed before the end of the
year. and continue with our petals and bridging activities.
We will soon begin our “use resources wisely” green petal. If anyone has any ideas on some reusing
and recycling activities, please call Carol.
***The Daisy Sports Day has been cancelled. I am so sorry I looked at the wrong deadline date but we do have
a similar activity set up for April 5th. Permission slips will go out soon!
