We started our meeting together with the Brownie troop by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, the Girl Scout
Promise and the Girl Scout Law.
All of our activities that we completed were done with the Brownie troop. We discussed the “responsible
for what I say and do” petal which was about our manners and our actions with certain circumstances.
We also completed the Brownie Manners Try-It with the Brownie troop. Completing a Brownie activity is one
of the requirements of Bridging to Brownie Girl Scouts or “Getting Your Brownie Wings.“ There are three more requirements
that we will complete within the next few months. While completing the Manners Try-It, we discussed different ways on how
to respect others, polite introductions, phone manners, and greetings from around the world.
At the next meeting we will learn a foreign eating custom by trying our hands at chopsticks and Chinese food.
We will also try to catch a few of the girls up on activities that have been missed and continue with our
petals and bridging activities.
We completed our meeting by picking our Daisy Dollar gifts.
***The Daisy Sports Day has been cancelled. I am so sorry I looked at the wrong deadline date but we do have
a similar activity set up for April 5th. Permission slips will go out soon!
