Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in their dues holder to every meeting. We do have some girls that owe for previous meetings.

Please remind the girls to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

Our last fundraiser is underway, Home Interior Troop Fundraiser. We will be collecting the order forms and money either on April 25^th, 26^th, or 27th. Delivery is set for the first week of May just in time for a Mother’s Day delivery.

We are also participating in community service projects, planting trees for National Arbor Day on April 27^th & collecting American Red Cross Comfort Kits until May 11th.

We starting our meeting by reciting the Girl Scout law, the Girl Scout Promise and the Pledge of Allegiance.

We started our last Try-It for the year, Caring and Sharing. We have been working on worksheets that list our favorite things and the differences between each other.

We also starting our craft of making a troop scrapbook. We will be finishing this Try-It and craft during the next two meetings.

We also discussed our hosting of the Girl Scout Neighborhood Ice Cream Social and Dance next Friday. Parents are welcome to attend with their daughters. At the last neighborhood event, we had an attendance of about 90 to 100 girls.

We enjoyed brownies from Abi and apple juice from Melissa.

We discussed upcoming field trips and fundraisers.

We ended the meeting with the Girl Scout Squeeze and choosing Kaper Chart duties.

The next meeting will be on April 27^th right after school.

Our last meeting will be May 11^th.

We will also be handing out spring registrations that are due back by June 10^th to receive an Early Bird patch.

We will be finishing our Caring & Sharing Try-It.

We have sent home permission forms for field trips and activities that have been recently planned. Please return permission slips by the date noted or ASAP to reserve your daughter’s spot.

We are thinking about making June 30^th a family day with a potluck lunch and other activities. Please let me know what you think so we can get the planning underway.
