Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in their dues holder to every meeting. We do have some girls that owe for previous meetings.

Please remind the girls to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

Our only other fundraiser that we will be participating in will be the Home Interior Troop Fundraiser. The girls will be receiving their order forms and instructions at the next meeteing, March 23^rd. We will need the order forms and money turned in no later than April 27^th. Delivery is set for the first week of May just in time for Mother’s Day delivery.

We are also participating in community service projects, planting trees for National Arbor Day & collecting American Red Cross Comfort Kits.

We starting our meeting by reciting the Girl Scout law and the Girl Scout Promise and the Pledge of Allegiance.

We passed out our troop recipe books. We hope that you and your daughters will take the time to try a new recipe.

We also discussed the differences in our Math Fun homework and passed out the Emergency Center sheets that were collected at the last meeting.

We completed our last activity for the Math Fun Try-It. We made an hourglass out of water bottles and filled it with sand. It took 20 minutes for the sand to empty out of one bottle and fill the other.

We also handed out Healthy Habits Brownie homework that is due at our next meeting.

We then enjoyed cookies from Tess.

We discussed upcoming field trips and fundraisers.

We ended the meeting with the Girl Scout Squeeze and choosing Kaper Chart duties.

The next meeting will be on March 23^rd right after school.

We have invited Debbie Cockrell to come in and discuss our last fundraiser.

We will also be trying to finish up our Healthy Habits Try-It. We will be discussing the important of hand-washing and not smoking.

We have sent home permission forms for field trips and activities that have been recently planned. Please return permission slips by the date noted to reserve your daughter’s spot.

We have also sent home a final announcement sheet that should include field trip information for the rest of the year until school begins in the fall. I am still checking on the hiking field trip on June 30^th. I will let you know something soon.
