Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in their dues holder to every meeting. We do have some girls that owe for previous meetings.

Please remind the girls to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

Our only other fundraiser that we will be participating in will be the Home Interior Troop Fundraiser. The girls will be receiving their order forms and instructions on March 23^rd. We will need the order forms and money turned in no later than April 27^th. Delivery is set for the first week of May just in time for Mother’s Day delivery.

We are also going to be participating in a community service project with planting trees and collecting American Red Cross Comfort Kits. More information will be sent home at a later date.

We starting our meeting by reciting the Girl Scout law and the Girl Scout Promise and the Pledge of Allegiance.

We finally finished our troop recipe books. We will be passing them out at the next meeting. It is a collection of recipes from girl scouts and the girls in our troop. We hope that you take the time to try a new recipe soon.

We collected our Emergency Center homework. Please remember to bring it to the next meeting, if you have not done so.

We also collected more Math Fun Brownie homework. Please remember to bring it to the next meeting also, if you have not done so.

We then enjoyed chips and pretzels from Eva and juice drinks from Madelyn.

We discussed upcoming field trips and fundraisers.

We ended the meeting with the Girl Scout Squeeze and choosing Kaper Chart duties.

The next meeting will be on March 16^th right after school.

We will be finishing up the Safety Sense Try-It with collecting our safety center sheets. We will also be passing out our troop recipe books for the Make It, Eat It Try-It. We also have one more Math Fun activity to finish besides going over our Brownie homework that has been completed.

We have sent home permission forms for field trips and activities that have been recently planned. Please return permission slips by the date noted to reserve your daughter’s spot. We will also be sending home a final announcement sheet that should include field trip information for the rest of the year until school begins in the fall.
