Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in their dues holder to every meeting. We do have some girls that owe for previous meetings.

Please remind the girls to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

Optional Calendar Sales are taking place now. If any girls would like to sell calendar(s) to earn a patch, please contact Carol or Liz. Calendars are $2 each. Only one sold calendar is required to earn the calendar patch.

Optional Nut and Candy Sales are also going on now. A list of important dates have been sent home with the permission slip and order forms.

Other fundraising activities that we are participating in are Home Interior candles in late March.

We starting our meeting by reciting the Girl Scout law and the Girl Scout Promise and the Pledge of Allegiance.

We had a very exciting meeting with a special guest, fire chief Casey Trentman. He discussed fire safety and what we should do in case of a fire. Mr. Trentman also showed us his uniform and fire fighting equipment. The girls had many questions and comments about his uniform and equipment.

We collected some Brownie homework. Please remember to bring it to the next meeting, if you have not done so.

We also passed out our order forms and permission slips for our Nut and Candy Sale Fundraiser.

We then enjoyed brownies from Mackenzie and punch from Delynn. We also chose Brownie Bucks gifts,

We ended the meeting with the Girl Scout Squeeze and choosing Kaper Chart duties.

The next meeting will be on February 16^th right after school until 1:00. Remember school is dismissed at 11:30.

We will be finishing up our Safety Sense Try-It, our recipe books and, if time allows, our Math Fun Try-It.

We also have our It’s Magic Field Trip scheduled for Wednesday, February 28^th. We will be leaving at 5:30 pm and returning at around 8:30 pm.

We also gave the girls Brownie homework that is due at the next Brownie meeting. We have 3 sheets of paper about math facts.

We are also trying to set up various field trips. If you have any field trip suggestions, please give us a call.
