Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in the dues holder to every meeting.

Please remind the girls to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

We are doing a new and exciting gift idea this year. The girls will be collecting Brownie Bucks for gifts and prizes through their participation. Brownie Bucks earned are recorded at each meeting.

Optional Calendar Sales are going to begin after the cookie sales are completed. If any girls would like to sell calendar(s) to earn a patch, please let Carol or Liz. Calendars are $2 each.

Cookie delivery is set for the next Brownie meeting on Nov. 3rd. Cookie payments are set to be turned in to Carol on November 15th or 16th. Please call if you have any questions.

We have included all important information on our troop website.

Current Activities

We starting our meeting by choosing our Kaper Chart duties. We then recited the Girl Scout law and the Girl Scout Promise and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mackenzie chose to take attendance/dues. Melissa chose to lead us in the Pledge, Law and Promise. Hannah and Colleen was in charge of craft set-up. Madelyn was in charge of handing out folders. Skyler and Meghan served as snack hostess. And Tess and Delynn served as clean-up.

We started our first activity by decorating our Recipe Folders. Then we added 4 Brownie recipes. All the girls were asked to bring in their favorite recipe and an old magazine at our next meeting.

Our second activity was Green Thumb. We planted dill seeds in little planters.

We enjoyed snacks brought by Courtney and Colleen.

Finally, we ended the meeting with the Girl Scout Squeeze and upcoming activities.
