Meeting 2-2, Sept. 22, 2006

Important Information

We would like to thank all of the girls and their parents for a GREAT Cookie Caravan weekend. We sold 243 boxes of cookies. We even ran out off half of the flavors before Sunday. Great job girls!!

Reminder: Dues are $1 per meeting. We are asking that the girls bring their dues in the dues holder to every meeting.

Please remind the girls to remember to also wear their Brownie sash to all Brownie activities, including meetings.

We are doing a new and exciting gift idea this year. The girls will be collecting Brownie Bucks for gifts and prizes through their participation.

Cookie sale information has been given to everyone. Please call if you have any questions.

We have included all of this information on our troop website. You can view this site at: https://stliborybrownies.tripod.com/.

Current Activities

We starting our meeting by choosing our Kaper Chart activities. Melissa took the girls attendance/dues. Colleen lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, Girl Scout Law and the Girl Scout Promise.

Skyler and Eva passed around our Cookie Counts Try-It worksheet. We discussed our troop and personal goals for the cookie sale. We also discussed some of the activities that we could do with the money earned.

We practiced good manners with selling cookies and making change to customers.

We enjoyed snacks brought by Tess and Madelyn. And Meghan and Courtney served as our snack hostesses. Delynn passes out our Brownie folders with information about the cookie sale.

Hannah and Mackenzie served as clean-up helpers.

Finally, the girls received Brownie Bucks to save for special gifts from the troop for great work done.
